my heart goes out to the people hurt and affected by the cowardly attack on the CSD in berlin today, in my neighborhood ;/

it does seem strange that the Wikipedia article https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2026_Berlin_Pride_van_attack (and news articles it was sourced from: https://www.reuters.com/world/berlin-pride-parade-called-off-after-car-hits-crowds-police-say-2026-07-25/, https://www.dw.com/en/1-dead-16-injured-after-car-ramming-at-berlin-csd-pride-event/a-78116146) are labeling it an "Islamist Terrorist" attack, but no suspect has been named and/or apprehended.
it has post-9/11 "they hate us for our freedom" vibes.
regardless, the violence and loss of life is tragic, and I offer solidarity to those affected
